REDC To Host Fifth Annual Rockwall Job Fair

ROCKWALL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ANNOUNCES 2021 ROCKWALL JOB FAIR

ROCKWALL, TEXAS – The Rockwall Economic Development Corporation (REDC) has announced the date and venue for the fifth annual Rockwall Job Fair. The event will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at Lakepointe Church (701 E. I-30) in Rockwall. Registration is now open for both employers and job seekers to participate in this year’s event. The Rockwall Job Fair – which went virtual in 2020 but is returning to a live in-person event this year – has attracted an average of 18 employers and over 400 qualified job seekers annually.

The venue is well suited for this event, as Lakepointe Church is easy to find and offers abundant free parking and a relaxed environment for job seekers. The purpose of the Rockwall Job Fair is to expose individuals within commuting distance to the various job opportunities available in Rockwall and to support growth of the local workforce. It is an effective and economical way for local employers to reach a receptive and engaged pool of candidates. The event is free for all job seekers, although job seekers are encouraged to register in advance at RockwallJobs.com.

For a low registration fee, employers will receive substantial exposure via social media, digital marketing, and traditional advertising avenues in order to attract qualified candidates for their open positions. Participation is limited to employers located in Rockwall County, with jobs in Rockwall County. All fields and experience levels are welcome. Space is limited, so employers are encouraged to register as soon as possible at RockwallJobs.com to secure their booth. Job seekers will be able to view participating employers, open positions, and job descriptions at that site in advance.
