Kayne Pierce

Board Chairman

Kayne Pierce relocated to Rockwall in 2021. Kayne is Senior Vice President & Market President for Happy State Bank.

Darren Shue

Board Vice Chairman

Darren Shue has lived in Rockwall since 2013. Darren is the Owner of SaniTech Services, LLC in Rockwall.

Justin Lee

Board Secretary

Justin Lee has been a Rockwall resident since 2013. Justin is a former US Army helicopter pilot and is now an attorney at Jackson Walker LLP.

John Hohenshelt

Board Director

John Hohenshelt has lived in Rockwall since 1998. John is a U.S. Army Veteran, former REDC Board Member and Liaison, and former City Council member. He is the Owner of Taiga Coolers, LLC in Mesquite.

Eric Burress

Board Director

Eric Burress has been a Rockwall resident since 2010. Eric works in Outside Sales for the North Texas & Oklahoma regions for Lapp Tannehill.

Brandon Buschold

Board Director

Brandon Buschold, founder and President of Integrated Defense Products (IDP), made the move to Rockwall in 2022 along with his wife and children, following a corporate headquarters relocation of his precision manufacturing company to Rockwall.

Matt Wavering

President

Matt initially joined the REDC in 2017. After a brief stint elsewhere, he joined the staff as President in 2026.

Shannon Arnold Foltz

Vice President

Shannon joined Rockwall EDC as Vice President in April 2025.

Jennifer Hammonds

Marketing Coordinator

Jennifer joined the Rockwall EDC office in the fall of 2019 as Office Manager. In 2021, Jennifer also became the REDC’s Marketing Coordinator.

Debbie Leeuw

Office Manager

Debbie joined the Rockwall EDC office in early 2025 as Office Manager.
