REDC Hosts Local Employees at Annual Employee Appreciation Event

The Rockwall Economic Development Corporation (REDC) hosted its annual Employee Appreciation Event in May 2024. The event was hosted over two days at two locations central to the attending employees. Due to the pandemic, the reimagined food truck event began in 2021 as a pivot from the previously designed indoor event.

In 2021, for the first annual food truck event, REDC hosted 1,018 employees of local primary employers, giving out one complimentary meal to each. These employees represented 25 of Rockwall’s primary employers, and employees from the City of Rockwall. The success of the event has grown each year. 2024’s event hosted 2,003 employees from 30 primary employers and the City of Rockwall.

The Rockwall EDC plans to continue the event in the future and wishes to express gratitude to all of the employees contributing to Rockwall’s growth and prosperity. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.
